One request, one local conversation
Here is what Jonathanbrooklyn Skin Consults does, in short. You send a consultation request. We pass it to a provider in or near Charleston. The provider gets in touch with you.
That is the whole service. There is no clinic behind this site, no price list, and no booking made on your behalf. Any treatment plan comes from a licensed provider at a consultation, and the choice to go ahead is yours.
If that sounds useful, send a request. If you want to prepare first, start with questions to ask a provider.
Treatments you can ask about
You can send a request about any of the four areas below. Each one has its own page that explains, in general terms, what the treatment is, what to think about and how to prepare for a consultation.
Pick the one closest to your question. If you are not sure, choose the nearest fit and explain in your message. The provider near Charleston can tell you more.
Facials, peels, microneedling
Each skin treatment works differently. A licensed provider decides what is suitable for you.
Injectables
Rules on who can give injectables are set by South Carolina. A consultation with a licensed provider comes first.
Laser sessions
Curious about laser hair removal? Request a consultation with a provider in or near Charleston and ask your questions.
Body consultation
Start with questions. A provider can talk through visits, aftercare and cost before anything is planned.
Four simple steps
Nothing is booked or agreed when you send a request.
- Fill in the request form. It takes a few minutes.
- We send your request on to a provider who works in or near Charleston.
- The provider reaches out to you and offers a consultation.
- You meet, a licensed provider decides what is suitable, and you choose what happens next.
Choosing with care
There is no rush. Take time to compare, and look for a provider who explains things clearly.
- Have a consultation before any treatment.
- Ask who will perform it and what training and license they hold.
- Share your full health history and medications.
- Ask about side effects, aftercare and what happens if something goes wrong.
- Get the total cost in writing before you start.
Anyone who promises a specific outcome is telling you something they cannot know.
Before you send a request
Does sending the form book a treatment?
No. Sending the form only passes your request to a provider. Nothing is booked or agreed until you arrange it with the provider yourself.
What information do you share with the provider?
The details you enter on the form: your name, email, phone, the service you chose and your message. See the privacy page for more.
Who can give injectables?
Injectables, such as wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers, are given by licensed providers where state law allows. Who may inject varies by state. Ask who will perform yours and what license they hold.
What questions should I ask at a consultation?
Ask who will perform the treatment, their license and training, the device or product used, what a series involves, aftercare, what happens if something goes wrong, and the total cost. See questions to ask.
Can I ask about more than one service?
Yes. Choose the service closest to your main question on the form, then mention anything else in your message. The provider can cover more than one topic at a consultation.
A licensed provider decides what is suitable for you. Send a request to begin that conversation.
